Nathan started racing competitive go karts in 2000 at the young age of 6 and transitioned to formula style race cars in 2009.
In
2011 he became the youngest driver in the history of the series when he
won the Canadian Formula Tour 1600 Championship. He re-established the
track record at the Montreal Grand Prix by 1.6 seconds. And again at
the Trois Rivieres Grand Prix he became the youngest driver in history
to win a race at this prestigious venue, putting his name alongside such
legends as Gilles Villeneuve.
In 2012 he once again won the Canadian Formula Tour Championship, clinching the championship in 10 out of 12 races, an accomplishment never before achieved. Furthermore he became the youngest driver in Canadian history to win back to back championships.
Continuing this winning streak in 2015, he won the Canadian F2000 Championship, breaking the track record at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on his first ever race at this venue.
Nathan competed in the 2019 CTCC finale with Team NewRoads /Speedstar wheeling a GT4 Audi R8 with a win and another podium finish despite having no prior seat time or practice .
In 2022 having not competed in several years due to COVID-19, Nathan drove his Scion FRS in the Production Class in the Super Production Challenge Series (SPC) to finish 3rd in class.
With his newly formed team, Futec Motorsports (www.futecmotorsports.com) 2023 was a transition year competing in the Super Production Class in SPC. 2024 saw Nathan secure a 3rd place in the championship with 2 dominating wins on the last weekend.
Outside of racing Nathan made a appearance on the CBC's hit show "The Dragons' Den" in front of estimated 2.2 million viewers in the Canadian market alone and convinced the Chairman and Owner of Boston Pizza and Mr. Lube to get involved in his program.
